As a prospective student your journey embark on tryst with destiny starts with contacting ECS for your specific requirements. At this point we will ask you for your academic Curriculum Vitae (CV) to understand your background and your prospective field of interest. An experience team of academic evaluators will go through your CV and determine the chances of success for you to obtain admission in various European Universities. Administrative team at ECS will then send you an invitation to register with ECS and send you a detailed contract to engage our services. Upon execution of this contract the counseling services will begin in following phases.
Phase I – Research Questionnaire
After registration, the immediate first step is the Research Questionnaire. This is a list of questions carefully framed for your specific applicable level of study (Bachelors, Masters, PhD, Post-Doc) and field of specialization like: Engineering-all fields, Math, MBA, Physics etc. This questionnaire is exhaustive and ECS expects you to answer in meticulous detail as this will chart out the course that will be specifically designed for you to successfully accomplish your higher education goals. Your response to this questionnaire directs the research team at ECS to identify the relevant course of studies for you at various universities and proceed to the phase II
Phase II – List of diligently matched university
Based on your response to the phase I questionnaire and any other specifically expressed needs, ECS research team will investigate hundreds of Universities and filter those that matches the criteria that will be most suitable to you. The research team will also perform background check on the universities based on reviews from our clients and certain government accreditation boards. This list will be versatile to offer you as many distinct choices as possible.
The list will contain all the latest and relevant universities that are best suited for your requirement, matching your educational background and your interests. ECS will also provide all the pertinent information regarding these Universities in the list.
During Phase I, there will also be an opportunity for you and ECS to interact based on specific universities and course of study to identify your requirements more specifically. At this point ECS will also point out and explain many nuances of the Education System abroad, which are very different than those in your parent country.
Phase III –Short-List of Universities
At ECS, we believe that you are always in the driver’s seat. To this end we provide you an opportunity to select five / seven /nine /eleven /thirteen/fifteen universities where you and ECS will focus their efforts to reach successful outcome. You will go through the list provided in Phase II in detail select the short-listed Universities that are best matching your study criteria, preferences and where you would like to pursue to APPLY for your higher education in Germany.
Based on the final list provided by you, the ECS research team will create an information package that will detail the following information regarding the selected Universities:
- Pre-requisites for application
- Required admissions tests
i. English language test
ii. Subject specific tests
iii. Fachtests from the relevant University
iv. German language tests (if any)
- Educational background requirements
- Financial requirements, cost of tuition, if any.
- Other special highlights of the course
- Identify if any short-term course in your parent country would help to enhance the application packet
ECS research team will try to tailor various requirements from the university as per available options in your parent country. For e.g. if the university requires specific foreign language certification at a a certain level, ECS will point out which exact course you should take in your parent country and also identify the institutions those are recognized at the foreign university.
Phase IV – Documents Preparation for the respective Universities
Apart from your academic certificates, universities in Europe also require various other documents as a part of admissions process. There are typically, your CV, Statement of Purpose – Why you want to study the specific course in the specific university (SoP) and 2-3 Letters of Recommendation (LoR) from people who know you academically and/or professionally. During this phase the editorial team at ECS will help you with
- Counseling for the preparation of the curriculum vitae (CV) to bring out your achievements in prominence and to exemplify your skills and talents as they will be relevant to your career goal.
- Guidance on preparing the Statement of Purpose (SoP). Editorial team will provide you with a template that will guide you through various aspects those need to be covered in a SoP.

Phase VIII – Inter-Cultural Training
Pre-Departure and travel counseling
Once you have secured the admission and completed the successful visa interview, ECS will provide the pre-departure intercultural training and guidance for your easy integration in the new environment and culture of a foreign country. This inter-cultural training highlights:

- Physical behavioral do’s and don’ts
- Personality etiquettes:
- Writing / Addressing to your professor and professional colleagues
- Meeting with Professor or any professional delegate

- Personality grooming as per international standards for education as well as future business/job integration in the industry
- Further information about Travelling and the country and city of residence

helpful tips for integration in foreign country like:
